What is SIRI Education?

Siri Education is an Afrocentric skills and competency based curriculum focused on preparing a generation of mentally healthy, resilient and skilled problem solvers for Africa.

By pivoting on technology, our innovative curriculum and methodology is deeply enriching as it allows children to use multiple intelligences.

Our approach is competency based and therefore practical – teaching kids functional skills that they can use within the African context.

We enrich their learning with innovation challenges where they get to meet and work with our partners who are running successful businesses in Africa!

The Siri Difference

Think of Siri Education like African Traditional Education, modernised. We have taken the foundational principles of African education and fused them with psychological principles to create the education innovation that is Siri.

Siri Education must be:-

  1. Holistic
  2. Utilitarian
  3. Functional
  4. Community focused
  5. Future oriented

Our MISSION

To prepare a generation of mentally healthy, skilled and resilient problem solvers for Africa.

“If as they say, every problem is actually an opportunity, then Africa is the land of opportunities- we just need to learn to solve problems from Africa’s perspective.”

WHO WE ARE

Soma Siri Afrika is an edtech startup which, has been commissioned by our parent company Siri The Brand to digitise the Siri Curriculum.

The Siri Curriculum has been curated by a team of Educationists and psychologists, with the aim of unlocking the potential of children of African descent.

We also run our own brick and mortar Siri Education Centres

Join our Enrichment programs and add value to your child’s education.

WHAT WE DO

We work with numerous schools, starting in Kenya and soon expanding regionally where we start Siri Innovators Clubs as well as offer lessons in skills based learning areas such as languages and music.

Our aim is to reach, equip and graduate 10,000 African children (including those in diaspora) by 2025.

In order to support children in hard to reach areas, we partner with community centres and cyber cafes which run like Siri Education Centeres that allow the children to access Siri Education and 10 Kenya Shillings a week.
